cgroup-bin software package provides control and monitor control groups (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cgroup-bin
cgroup-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cgroup-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cgroup-bin *
You will get with cgroup-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
